Biography

Dr. Spyridon Gourdoupis is a health specialist with a doctorate in structural biology. He obtained his Diploma in Pharmacy from the University of Patras, Greece in 2014 and he is a licensed pharmacist in all the countries of the European Union. He was awarded the Ph.D. in Structural Biology from the Universities of Florence, the University of Frankfurt and Utrecht University in 2018.

Since February 2021, he has been a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Biological and Environmental Science and Engineering (BESE) Division and part of the Molecular Diagnostics and Drug Discovery (MD3) Lab under the supervision of Professor Łukasz Jaremko.

His research is related to understanding the mechanisms of diseases exploiting both computational and experimental approaches.
